Bible Study classes in Presque Isle are being held @ 6:00 p.m. every Wednesday.

There was a call for humanity presentation on the desperate needs at the shelter for the homeless in Presque Isle. This is the only homeless shelter north of Bangor. Clothing, toiletries, food, beds, cleaning supplies, etc. The shelter provides some of these items at the time of transitioning families into their own housing, A collection box will be set up at the entrance to the Presque Isle SDA Church. The local AARPs need volunteer drivers to give rides to the elderly and other individuals to and from medical appointments (updated 5/19/12)

Camp Meeting Cook and Assistant
General Information
- Rate of Pay: Flat Fee plus mileage
- Free accommodations in one of the cabins on the PTA grounds
- Free meals
- Supervise assistant cook and established kitchen staff (Camp Lawroweld Staff)
Week Before Pre-Camp Pitch (June 4 – 8)
Cafeteria – clean up, set up, and food ordering

Clean cafeteria – takes about a full week to do this

Refrigerators must be up and running a week prior to food being delivered (Maintenance – Pastor Steve Brownell)

Food can only be delivered from PFG on Tuesdays and Thursdays and can be ordered up to the day before

Washer & dryer needs to be hooked up (Maintenance – Pastor Steve Brownell)
Pre-Camp Pitch (June 11 – 15)

Prepare, cook, serve, breakfast, lunch and supper for approximately 10 people

Clean up and prepare for the next week.
Camp Pitch (June 17 – 21)

Prepare, cook, serve, breakfast, lunch and supper for approximately 70 people

Clean up and prepare for the next week.
